June Beauty Haul

Happy Weekend Loves,

This week has been super busy and exciting at the same time. Finally finished serving my country *whoop*. Now it's time to kick back and enjoy the summer!

Talking of the summer, we all know its that time to go on holidays to relax. Well, my latest beauty haul was inspired by the thought of getting compact makeup that would not burden my makeup bag.

Continue reading for my review on above products.

  Sleek Blushes

I am loving these blushes. Wanted something natural and matte, so after lots of reviews, these were the three I decided to go for. From the left to right..Sahara, Rose Gold and Flushed. Have a look at the swatches below.

My favourite is Sahara (Matte), that's the orange looking one above. It looks really natural on the cheek, so perfect for everyday look. Flushed (Matte) is also lovely, really gives you a pop of colour on the cheek, perfect for a night out look. As for Rose Gold (Shimmery), it's really pigmented, so one needs to apply as little as possible.

The only disappointing thing when I received the blushes were the size. They appeared really big on Amazon, but they are actually really tiny (lol). I'm not complaining though,  because they will still last at least a year or two depending on usage.

Pro Conceal and Correct Palette /Dark

So, I was randomly going through Mac's website and came across this concealer/correct palette. They have three palettes named light, medium and dark. I bought the dark one (no brainer!). The concealer shades from the top are NC45, NW45, NC50, NW55, Ochre, and Pure Orange.

This palette is really lovely and can be used for various purposes like Conceal, Highlight, Contour and Correct. Look below for the swatches.

This palette is really useful for a makeup artist (guessing that's why it's called a Pro Palette for professionals) or for someone that has to mix concealer shades to get their own shade. The Pure orange is to correct any uneven skin tone on your face, so if you have dark circles or if your under eye is darker than your normal skin tone, then this correction palette would be great for you. Correcting before applying your foundation gives you a flawless foundation finish.

6 Preferred Pinks Pro Lip Palette

Having six different pink toned lipsticks in just one palette is great for summer. From the top, we have Pretty Please (light), Pretty Please (Medium) , LoveLorn, Creme De La Femme, Show Orchid and Violetta. All these lipsticks have pink undertones. Have a look below for the swatches.

Pink is just one of those colours that goes with any skin type, so having various shades of pink in one palette is perfect. They also had other lip palettes like Plum Shades, Editorial Reds, Modern Browns, Editorial Oranges and Fall 14 Trend Forecast. I aim to get the Fall 14 trend Forecast lip palette next because it has different colours in one palette, so definitely a must have!
