My Hair Styling Routine!!!

Hello Dolls,

Oh how I've missed you all. Apologies for my absence, so ecstatic to be back!!! (*wink*)

I have been meaning to share this post with you all, and this is the perfect timing to do so. Anyone that knows me will tell you about my love for Brazilian hair.

I have had my extensions now for well over four years, and believe me when I tell you it still looks and feels gorgeous, considering the fact that I have dyed it black, red and now shades of blond. The hair still looks pretty healthy and smooth.

Bendy rollers does not work for me so over the years, I have been forced to master the art of styling my extensions with the use of straighteners, even went as far as investing in a ghd straightener (worth every penny!).

Continue reading for steps on how to curl your weave (Human hair)!........

Before

Step one -  Prep your hair

When prepping your hair, make sure you brush it out, or comb depending on your discretion.  I tend to add a bit of serum after brushing out my hair, this way it'll look silky after curling it.

Step two - Curl away!

My  personal preference is to spray heat protector before using the straightener to curl my hair. I bet some of you are thinking how can I possibly curl my hair using straighteners?!

Well, it's pretty easy, all you need to do is take a chunk of your hair and just as you'd use your straighteners normally, but this time, you'll roll the hair around your straighteners and wait about 10 seconds before letting go, just like the pictures below...

Step 3 -  Hold Spray or Oil Sheen

Usually, if I have a really important occasion to attend, I spray TRESemme extra hold just to make sure my curls stay in place all day. My advice is not to spray too much, cause then, your hair would look really fake and to be honest it'll stiffen the hair, so not a good look.
Oil sheen would add shine in case you are someone that likes your hair looking really shiny :-)!

OK dolls, give this a try and invest in a good straightener *wink*

Have a lovely Weekend
