There is new found product in the makeup world that everyone is talking about. The weirdest thing however is that it is a medication.
This medication is used for a short time to treat occasional constipation. It is a laxative (osmotic-type) that is thought to work by drawing water into the intestines, an effect that helps to cause movement of the intestines (http://www.webmd.com)
This my people is now what makeup artists are using as face primer especially for oily skin. It can also be used on dry skin but I would advice you moisturize your face first before applying this.
After applying it, it'll dry quickly on the face, just like how calamine lotion goes white and matte when its dry, that is exactly how Milk of Magnesia is, so it's vital you don't apply to much.
It's really good as a face primer because it creates a matte base before applying your foundation, hence it stops any oil from appearing all day. This is so perfect especially for brides, it'll reduce the need to keep applying powder on your face throughout the wedding.
Tried and tested and I love it!
It can be found at any pharmacy but watch out for fakes! I purchased mine for N1300.
I'm curious though, who on earth decided to try this as a face primer (LOL). Good discovery though!
